Pickleball Ladders Organized Play for Various Playing Levels

NOTE: MSC's various Ladders sessions are now over for the spring and summer 2023 seasons with the except of Intermediate Level Ladders on Sundays from 1-3 p.m., which will continue through August 20 if there are enough participants. Ladders will be offered again at new The Pickleball Club at Monroe after it opens in the fall of 2023. Stay tuned for more details from PCM.

Ladder players will play in fun, competitive matches where they have the opportunity to move up or down courts as they win or lose games and compete to establish their ladder standing among their competitors. One or more of our pickleball instructors will be on-hand to supervise games and offer coaching suggestions as they play-in or observe matches.

 

Ladder Details

  • Players will play competitive matches where they have the opportunity to move up or down courts to establish their ladder position.
  • Each match is played to 11 points or until 15 minutes. At the end of each match, the winning team will move up a court and the losing team will move down a court. If the score is tied at the end of 15 minutes, the team who was ahead before the tie will be awarded the win.
  • When you move up or down a court, you split with your partner and pair with a new partner from the other team who has also just moved to your court.
  • New players start at the bottom of the ladder courts.
  • The goal is to win games to advance to a higher court.
  • Registration required. NO WALK-INS ALLOWED.
  • Our Ladder sessions are limited to 16 players on four courts. Players play the whole time. No sitting out.
