All players must select one of the following options in order to be placed in the pool of players to be selected onto a Spring/Summer 2024 CJ Hawks Team:​
 
1. NEW Players: This includes all players who have never played for a CJ Hawks team in the past. All NEW players MUST attend tryouts.
Tryout fee: $25 if paid in advance, $35 at the door
 
2. PREVIOUS Players: This includes all players who are currently playing on a CJ Hawks Fall/Winter 2023-24 team OR players who have played for a CJ Hawks team in the past. All PREVIOUS players MUST attend tryouts. 
Tryout fee: $0 if paid in advance, $15 at the door

The tryout fee does not get applied to the team fee

Central Jersey Hawks Tryout Information:

  • February tryouts listed above are for CJ Hawks Elite Basketball teams that will include the Spring & Summer 2024 seasons (March-August 2024)

  • The February tryout dates on this page are for teams based out of Monroe Sports Center. All practices and most games for these teams will be at Monroe Sports Center.

  • All players will be invited back to a 1st practice for a team at their age group. Scroll to the bottom of this page for the 1st practice dates and times for each age group. 

  • We will be selecting a maximum of 2 CJ Hawks teams at each age group based out of Monroe Sports Center. These teams will be tiered based on skill level. The top 8-12 players will be selected for the CJ Hawks Yellow, the next 8-12 players at each age group will make the CJ Hawks Orange, 

  • Any player not selected for any of the CJ Hawks teams at their age group will be guaranteed a spot on a Spring 2023 MSC Hawks Developmental Basketball team.
