Monroe Sports Center's High School Tune Up League is a great way for your high school team to stay sharp and get ready for the upcoming for the Winter High School season. All HS Tune Up league games will be finished a week before the official start of the NJSIAA HS Basketball Season. Games will be played indoors on Monroe Sports Center's state-of-the-art climate controlled basketball courts. 


Our HS League utilizes Revolutionary & Proprietary Scheduling Software for all Team Scheduling Requests!

 

High School League General Information:

  • Winter 2020-21 season: 6 games plus about half the teams make the playoffs, season finished by Jan 3, 2021
  • League open to all level & type teams (Varsity, JV, Freshman, AAU, Private, Parochial Teams, etc.)
  • Approximately half of the teams in each division make the playoffs
  • League scheduling, referee assigning, administration and website run by MSC 
  • Full schedule and updated standings posted on MSC website
  • Referee fees are included in the cost of the league
  • Most games will be played at Monroe Sports Center's Climate Controlled Facility, some games may be played at other locations
Game Rules:
High School Divisions:
20 minute running clock for each half, stopped clock last 1min of each half.  3min halftime
3 Timeouts per game. 1 per OT. No carry over.
1 and 1 for all shooting fouls. 1 and 1 at 10 team fouls each half. No double bonus. 1 and 1 after 2nd team foul under 1 min of 2nd half
Pressing allowed all game.
 
FOUL OUT RULES with no subsitutions left:
Each Player fouls out after 5 personal fouls. If a team's 5th player fouls out and there are no other players on the bench to put in the game, the team has 2 options:
1) They can play the remainder of the game 4 on 5.  If another player fouls out, they must then play the remainder of the game 3 on 5, and so on.
2) The player that fouled out can remain in the game, but the opposing team is awarded a technical foul, resulting in 2 shots and possession of the ball.  Every subsequent foul by that player who has fouled out will result in a technical foul as well.
 

Scheduling Requests:

  • Games for all divisions may be any weekday after 5pm or any weekend between 8am-9:30pm

  • Scheduling requests will be accepted.  If you cannot play on certain days of the week or at certain times, please let us know in advance and you will NOT be scheduled during those times.  Please keep in mind that the first priority is to schedule the most competitive matchups possible. The more restrictions you list, the more challenging it becomes to schedule games at exactly the right level. Once the schedule is posted, all game are FINAL.

  • All scheduling requests must be submitted via the Online Scheduling Request Form. Each team will have their own private url to submit your Team Information and Scheduling Requests.  As soon as you register, your Online Scheduling Request Form will be emailed to you.  Coaches can enter and update their own scheduling requests from their own computer. Each coach will then be asked to confirm all scheduling requests by reviewing the private web page set up for each team.

 

Pricing:
WInter 2020-21: $600 for 6 games plus playoffs
Additional Multi Team Discount: Enter 3 or more teams from your town or club and receive $50 discount per team

 

IMPORTANT - Coaches - If you need to submit an invoice to your school, board, athletic director, etc., please do so now so the check can be processed in time for the early registration discount. Or if you need to collect money from individual players on your team, please start that process now so you can submit payment before your first game. Games will not be scheduled for teams without payment.
